All Slots online casino is my favorite site for playing slots games. All Slots carries hundreds of different slots games with bright and exciting themes. There is something for everyone. Standard 3 reelers, 5 to 9 reelers with multiple pay lines and the exciting progressive slots are all available.
With all the doom and gloom of the economic recession hovering over the US it seems there is still a vocal lobby that wants online gambling legalized. Massachusetts Democrat Barney Frank has been fighting hard in congress to get these laws changed.
But there are some folks, like Chief executive officer of Wynn Resorts, Steve Wynn that oppose any changes that would increase the competition for the ole mighty gambling buck in these hard economic times and when asked about his company and where they stand on the online gambling issue he responded that online gambling in the US would be “impossible to regulate.” adding, “We are strongly opposed,”
My feeling is that many USA players are really excited to get back into the online gambling casinos to add some cheer and excitement to their lives. I think online poker will be the first to be legalized but I would not be surprised if a major USA sportsbook, maybe even one with land-based ties is allowed to operate legally. It might still take a few months until the economy begins to stabilize but I think Obama will confront his issue before 2010 rolls in.
David ‘Viffer’ Peat got nabbed at the airport and it turned into quite the little fiasco.
Two agents allegedly working for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) routed Peat last week as he attempted to board a plane in Detroit, Michigan.
Writing on the Two Plus Two poker forum, Peat revealed that the agents confiscated $15,000 in cash along with a Rolex watch worth $50,000 as he boarded a flight bound for Los Angeles. The Las Vegas resident had been visiting his girlfriend’s parents in Toledo, Ohio, before deciding at the last minute to fly to Los Angeles to take part in a tournament. Although he paid in cash for his $800 first-class ticket, he was allowed to pass through security and have a meal before being approached by the agents.
“I was standing against wall talking on the phone when two guys ask my name,” wrote Peat.
“I answered ‘Peat, David Peat’. They showed me DEA badges so, obviously, I hung up and answered their questions.
“They played good cop, bad cop and I had about $15,000 cash in my pocket and the bad cop asked why I had so much money on me. I told him what I did and where I was going. They reluctantly let me board the plane.”
However, as Peat was about to walk up the gangway, the duo approached him again, which caused him to miss the flight to California and the tournament.
“They grab me and start asking me if I use an alias,” wrote Peat.
“I’m, like, ‘no’, which I don’t. They take me to a corner of the baggage claim and ask me to empty my pockets and take off my jewellery. I do. Twenty minutes later the DEA guys tell me ‘here is a receipt, you will get something in mail’.”
Playing dumb does not usually ‘fly’ with the DEA.
Paul sure is unlucky
Posted by: admin // Category: Bad Luck, Casino News, Gambling News, Online Casino Tips, Online GamblingBritish sports book, online casino and poker room William Hill has discovered 2008’s unluckiest gambler after digging through the millions of bets wagered at their site and chain of UK shops.
Paul Greenwood, 52, from Barnsley, UK, was revealed as the unluckiest gambler of 2008. He made his usual £10 on an accumulator, betting on a series of 14 football matches with cumulative odds of 79,500-1. He had initially included Manchester United in this bet but at the last minute decided to switch to Arsenal.
His first 13 selections won their games as he had predicted. So too did Manchester United, meaning that if he had stuck with them he would have been £795k richer. Nevermind, all Arsenal had to do was beat Aston Villa – they failed to do so. To make up for this disastrous bit of luck, William Hill have given Paul a £1,000 free bet.
William Hill spokesman Graham Sharpe said: ‘Against a great deal of competition from punters beaten by a short-head or a fall in horse races, we have declared Paul officially the unluckiest punter in the UK. I would think our customers will be desperate to know what Paul places his free bet on, so they can avoid it!’ If I was this guys friend I would avoid him like the plague.
Poker Advice to Live By
Posted by: admin // Category: Gambling News, Online Casino Tips, Online Gambling, Poker TipsYakshi over at The Epileptic Chihuahua gives us some great advice and we also learn where the name of his blog comes from!
Some pros will tell you that the biggest obstacle to poker success is tilt. Of course we’ve all experienced tilt, especially when our K8 of diamonds—the Epileptic Chihuahua—gets sucked out on by some ridiculous face-face holding like KJ or QQ.
Or we get smacked hard by the flop and then getting absolutely no action. Take this 2NL example:
Three callers to Yakshi on the button, who holds the Chihuahua. We opt for an advanced move called the invisi-raise—a call with the intent of raising on a later street. SB calls, BB checks, and we head six-handed to a flop of Ks 8s 7s.
Bang. We have the thirteenth nuts. Even better, hands like QQ and KJ have failed for once to catch up.
Then the nightmare. Everyone checks, we bet 12 cents, and everyone folds.
And he even had 18th nuts!
A former trucker could face fifty years in federal prison after he was found guilty of trying to extort hundreds of thousands of dollars from two Las Vegas casino companies for the return of customer information, a prosecutor said.
Jeffrey Daniel Greer, 49, of Parson, Tenn., was convicted Thursday of two charges of interference with commerce by threats or use of fear, and two charges of use of interstate facility in aid of racketeering activity, said Gregory Brower, U.S. attorney for Nevada.
Greer, a former driver for French Trucking Co. of Lexington, Tenn., faces up to 50 years in federal prison and $1 million in fines. He remained free on bond pending sentencing Jan. 30. Greer was accused of obtaining identification and personal financial information about customers at MGM Mirage and Harrah’s casinos from documents in a load of paper refuse he drove in March 2007 to a recycling plant in Jackson, Ala.
Greer allegedly contacted the casino and online casino companies and threatened to sell the confidential customer information to casino competitors or the tabloid media unless each company gave him a security consulting contract and paid him $250,000. Greer was arrested by the FBI after a May 2007 meeting, secretly recorded and filmed, with agents posing as casino executives at Harrah’s offices in Cordova, Tenn. It seems there is not shortage of unique ideas to rip-off casinos.
The amount of zeroes in the odds of winning ten consecutive jackpots at the same online casino would probably blow your mind. BlackjackBallroom have proudly announced their latest winner of a big jackpot – it’s the same as the last nine! The player, who wishes to remain anonymous, has netted ten big wins, each over $20,000. She said: ‘I used to be a big [live] casino player, but I like this so much better because it’s in the comfort of my own home and ‘no smoking’!’ At Blackjack Ballroom new players have the chance to use $500 of the casino’s money to play any of the 280+ Las Vegas style online games absolutely free for one hour.
Crazy luck but judging by the odds I would rather have won 10 million in the local lottery!
Have you heard the one about the casino and the hitman?
Posted by: admin // Category: Casino NewsI know it sounds like the set-up for a bad joke but this is reality in Mexico last week. Mexican police say they chased a suspected drug cartel hit man through the streets of Tijuana and into a crowded casino, arresting him and an accomplice after hundreds of frightened gamblers were ordered to the floor.
Mexico’s federal Public Security Department said the suspects arrested Friday are believed to be Ruben Rios Estrada, a key gunman for the Arellano-Felix cocaine cartel, and Hector Manuel Mora Mendoza, another suspected gang member. They were flown to Mexico City under heavy guard, the agency said.
Federal troops and policemen chased the suspects at high speed through the streets before they fled into the casino, the department said. Federal agents caught them as they gambled, The San Diego Union-Tribune reported, citing witness accounts.
The casino company , owned by former Tijuana Mayor Jorge Hank Rhon , complained to local newspapers that the raid by masked, heavily armed police terrified and endangered some 1,300 customers.
Federal police said they found a shotgun, two pistols, hundreds of bullets and five shirts emblazoned with police insignia in the suspects’ vehicle. Sounds like they got their man just in the nick-of-time.
Bodog Launches Mystic Hi-Lo
Posted by: admin // Category: Casino News, Gambling News, News Casino Games, Online GamblingBodog online casino is offering a new Hi-Lo game with a special twist. If you’ve ever dreamed of being a psychic, Mystic Shuffle Hi-Lo is for you! This is a fantastic new conceptual take on the game, with innovative graphics and all the features you’d expect from a top shelf online. Gameplay is fun and exciting with a nice pay-off possible if you have a good run. It sucks to have to choose hi or lo on mid-level cards but it is fun trying to predict the next flip. In practise mode I was able to score some decent size wins but I did go bust a few times before giving up.
